Building APIs like there is tomorrow

A lot of people have being using Rails to develop both their internal or external API, and integrating it with tons of things from JS framework to third party services and IoT devices. But building a high quality API can be hard, and performance is a key point to achieve it.

I'll share my stories about APIs, and tell you how Active Model Serializer and Rails-API, helped me into building better APIs using Rails. 
AMS have being used across thousands of applications bringing convention over configuration to JSON generation.

This talk will give you a sneak peek of a new version of AMS that we have being working on for the past months, it's new cache conventions, features, and how you will be able to easily use it on Rails 5.
